Web Design FAQs
How much does a website cost?
This question does not have a single correct answer as we focus on full business transformation rather than just a website. The cost of web design is determined by the requirements for each individual project that pertain to the businesses' needs. We specialize in creating and developing custom experiences for medium to large businesses, but there's no specific niche that we focus on. Custom is important because every business and website is different and needs different components and features. We'll elicit a lot of information from you in order to evaluate your demands and provide you with an accurate quote. Most of our sites range from $25,000 upward of $100,000, but completely depends on requirements, functionality, number of pages/sitemap, multilingual capabilities, accessibility, and overall performance needs.
How long will it take to get a new website built?
On average, we shoot for a 3 month turnaround, but the pace of any project is set by each client. The amount of input you can offer during the early phases, your responsiveness to feedback, and how soon the content is prepared all have an impact on how quickly the project is finished. The functionality requirements could also be important; complicated websites will take longer to develop.
Do we only create Wordpress CMS websites?
No. WordPress is a great content management system that now powers more than 50% of the web; however are a HubSpot Partner so have plenty of experience with their CMS, along with Shopify for eCommerce needs. Wordpress does have a huge market share which is due to its flexibility and ease of use. If you're worried about updating the website yourself, don't. We’ll teach you how to manage it and help you along the way.
Will I be able to update the website myself after it launches?
Yes! We LOVE it when our partners take charge of their website and figure out how to be the admin and make edits independently. Along with a training session to help you get started, we'll give you access to a series of thorough video tutorials to aid in your navigation. (Note: We enjoy answering any questions you may have!)
Who will maintain the website after it goes live?
We can! Whether you're using Wordpress CMS or not, we have the capabilities to track updates and make sure your website remains secure with zero vulnerabilities.
How much input do I have in the process?
Your input is everything as no one knows your business better than you. We will look for general inspiration to identify websites, brands and general assets that you like (and dislike) to refine the best direction forward. When it comes to our overall process, we won't actually start any development work until you approve the designs, which is essentially our guarantee. We won't code anything until you say you absolutely love what we've designed for you.
Who writes the content for the site?
For most of our projects, it's a collaborative effort. Some business come with exactly what they want to say, while others need help and guidance for overall messaging (and what works best for search engines). We typically will offer an SEO writer on most projects to help with the overall populating phase to make sure the content is just right, but we'd love your general outline of course.
Where should my website be hosted?
Look no further. We have a partnership with Kinsta that allows us to offer the best Wordpress hosting in the industry. There's several benefits to hosting with us vs them independently (such as the number of PHP Workers you will have available) so feel free to review our Wordpress Hosting Package as it's been a perfect fit for hundreds of our clients, and their website are faster than ever!
What if I need help with my website down the road?
We're only an email away... As long as you have internet, you'll be able to reach out for anything you need! We never disappear after launching a website, so we hope to be working together and collaborating for years to come.
Google Ads FAQs
Is Pay Per Click (PPC) right for my business?
Naturally, this depends on the specifics of your organization, but Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising ought to be effective in almost all markets. PPC will work for your business in some capacity if you provide goods or services that customers are likely to search for. We often parlay SEO efforts with PPC campaigns to approach it from both a paid and organic perspective.
Why would I pay for a search engine advertising?
If you want to start producing more website traffic and leads right away, paying for search engine advertising through PPC is the ideal way to do so because organic search can take some time and is a longer-term search approach.
How long does it take to see results?
It depends on the competitive nature of your industry. We've had some clients see results within the first week and others that take longer to optimize and may take a month. Either way, we ask for a 90 day commitment to not just show results, but to make data-driven adjustments to show how we can improve any baseline performance.
I've tried PPC before and it didn't work. Should I try again?
We've heard this a lot from potential new clients. If you tried PPC before and it didn't work it most likely was due to the way the campaign was original set up. Google Ads is super complicated so if some one new or an agency that doesn't specialize in PPC managed it, there's a great reason for it not succeeding. We can analyze the original data from your previous campaign and highlight reasons why your old campaign may have not worked, and give new insights on how we can improve a new campaign if you're open to it.
What is the right amount of monthly ad spend?
There's a few factors that should go into monthly ad spend. They are (1) location, (2) budget, and (3) demand of desired keywords. We can run conservative projections based on your budget and goals to see if a PPC makes sense for your business and what type of monthly ad spend would be required to have an impact and show results.
Where can you advertise with PPC ads?
The most popular places for PPC ads to show are (1) search results pages, (2) third-party websites, and (3) social media. We focus mostly on Google Ads as it's the most predictable where the prospect is typically looking for that answer/service immediately which can lead to higher conversions.
What businesses can (and should) advertise with PPC?
Any business can use PPC advertising, however we've seen more success with service-based businesses or any of the following: franchises, restaurants, HVAC companies, lawyers, insurance agencies, manufacturers, dentists, equipment dealers, and the list goes on.
How often should I check my PPC campaigns?
PPC campaigns should be reviewed weekly from a management perspective, but we'll supply you with in-depth analytics on how everything is performing on the 1st of each month. We can review together and breakdown anything you have questions about.

Social Media FAQs
What does Social Media Management entail?
Social Media Management with Torro Media is a three step process. We do a deep dive on your business and industry, learning trends and the current landscape on all digital platforms, create content and schedule that content on the appropriate platforms. Posting this content requires going through an approval process to ensure we are using the proper voice for your business, which of course you know better than anyone.
Do you write the captions for me and use the proper hashtags?
A large part of the Social Media Process with Torro Media is researching your industry and working with you, the client, to ensure we are using the latest and most accurate terminology for your posts. We create your captions and utilize the most effective hashtags before sending to you for approval.
Which social media platforms do you post to?
The short answer is “It depends on the client” but the long answer speaks to the work put in before posting. We research the industry our client is in and that will dictate which platforms are appropriate and also affects the verbiage we use! In general, B2B and B2C clients differ in the platforms they post to…that being said we always are looking for an edge. As social media evolves, we want our clients to evolve with it and lead the charge while exploring new platforms that may not be the current ones that are used for their industry.
Do you post our content for us?
Yes! We utilize a social media calendar that allows us to post to multiple platforms at the same time. The calendar also gives us incredible transparency with our client as they have the ability to view the future social plan at any time. This calendar is also the foundation of our approval process, ensuring the client is happy with everything being posted to their channels before it goes live!
